What is additional retouching?
1. How long will my canvas print last?
We print with pigmented archival inks and a high quality poly-cotton blend canvas for all our photos on canvas wraps. Your canvas print is guaranteed to last over 100 years without colour fading or yellowing. In addition to the type of inks, we also spray a UV moisture resistant finish to further protect your canvas.
2. Do you make odd size photo canvases or special sizes?
We offer any custom sized photo on canvas as well as any photo ratio. Our pricing page will provide you with custom option if you require a specific size. A customer service representative will give you a quote based on canvas size.
3. What kind of File should I use?
CreateYourCanvas accepts both JPEG and TIFF files. If your image is in another format please contact service@createyourcanvas.com.
4. How deep is my photo on canvas stretcher frame?
The standard gallery stretcher bar frame is 0.75” deep. We also have the gallery stretcher frame which is 1.5” deep. The gallery frame (our most popular option) is ideal if you do not wish to have a frame around your canvas . The standard stretcher frame can be displayed without a frame or if you wish a frame of your choice can be mounted onto the photo on canvas.
5. How long will it take for me to receive my canvas?
Orders typically ship within 1-2 days and will generally be received 7-10 business days after ordering. Delivery may be delayed by size/quantity of the order.
6. Is it only photos I can put on canvas?
Not at all. If you have a JPEG or TIFF image of artwork, wedding invitation, maps, degrees etc. We can print it, as long as you have the rights to reproduce the image.
7. Will you ‘touch up’ my image?
Yes. At CreateYourCanvas we are committed to producing the best image possible for you. Our artists will do exposure correction, color correction, date stamp removal, red-eye removal, and the repair of minor scratches, dust and other blemishes are all included at no additional charge.
8. Will you crop or resize my image?
Our artists will work with your image to make sure it fits the dimensions of the size on canvas you want printed.
9. How big can my photo on canvas be?
We can produce your photo canvas up to 40 inches wide by up to 7 feet in length.
10. Does my canvas come ready to hang?
Yes, On our wrapped canvases, you simply pull it out of the box and hang it on your wall. If you choose our print only canvas. In this case, take your rolled canvas out of the shipping tube, and have it framed yourself.
11. Can I use a professional photograph or painting?
Yes you may. However we will require that you confirm that you have permission to reprint the image you provide to us.
12. Can I use negative, slide or traditional photographs?
Absolutely. Negatives, traditional photos as well as good quality digital files all produce amazing quality canvases. If you have a negative, slide, or transparency use our mail-in option when you order, and we will mail the original back to you with your canvas.

14. Can I make a colour photo black and white?
We can convert colour photos into black and white. When placing order check the “Convert to Black and White”.
15. Do you have sepia tone?
Yes we do offer this service. When placing your order, simply check the “Convert to Sepia” option. Sepia tone canvases can be created from both colour and black and white photos.

Yes, We will ship your photo on canvas to a third party if you wish. Just specify the address when ordering.
19. Do you ship my photo on canvas worldwide?
Yes we do. Rates may very depending on destination and size. Please contact us for more information.
20. How should I take care of my canvas?
Our canvases are extremely durable and do not require any special care! While we do recommend displaying your canvas in a dry, temperature controlled location, our prints are specifically designed to withstand many of the environmental factors that may damage other artwork, such as exposure to sunlight or humidity. If necessary, it's OK to use a feather duster or a soft dry or damp cloth to gently clean your canvas.
21. What is your return policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your canvas return it to us within 30 days and we will either replace your canvas or refund your money.
22. Is this site secure?
CreateYourCanvas utilizes a secure server in all the transactions that hold your sensitive information. A secure server guarantees the privacy of data transmitted through the Internet, including credit card information, through a SSL protocol that encrypts the information.
23. What is additional retouching?
If your image requires extensive image editing and restoration. This service will not be performed or charged to you in anyway until consulting with you first.
